Project Goals:
Deliver a cellular connected blood glucose monitor without the need of FDA approval. The project had to be finished in 6 months.

Project Specifics:
This was a very unique project that I completed from home during the height of the pandemic. We ended up sourcing a FDA approved blood glucose meter with a data port to extract test results. This was combined with a cellular backpack we designed to send the results to the users cloud.
This project required me to work hand in hand with our EE to determine optimal PCB layout, create a custom TRS plug, and design light tubes for the first time. I then had to design the final CAD for MFG, review tooling changes with overseas partners, and create a process for assembly and provisioning at our warehouse.
